Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains are in one word, AMAZING! I absolutely love everything about these. Lets start with the packaging. The balm stain is housed in a sleek, high-end looking pencil. The silver part of the pencil is twistable and allows you to twist up the product. Thus, you do not have to sharpen it, which is really nice especially if you don’t have a jumbo sharpener. The packaging itself is the same color as the balm stain so when you are searching through your makeup stash it will be easy to notice and find by its color.
Next is the product itself. Revlon labels it as a balm stain, which is exactly that! I love it. It’s a pigmented lip product that goes on as a lip balm and dries down to a stain. When you first apply it, it has a slight gloss or sheen to it. Nothing to dramatic or over the top. Then as the gloss finish starts to dry it becomes and looks like a stain. Also, it feels so smooth when you glide it on your lips, which is very nice. The balm stain has a hint of mint to it which is very pleasant and much like a normal mint lip balm scent. You can smell it when you are applying it, but soon the scent starts to fade.
These balm stains are very pigmented and as you can see by the four colors I got, I got the really bright and summery shades! I’m so excited to wear these this spring/summer because they won’t melt all over your face and feel heavy. I have worn all of the colors and they act much like other stains I have worn. They do not last all day or through eating for me. Maybe I’m just a messy eater! But the stain did last several hours on me as long as I didn’t eat. The colors are just gorgeous and so pretty. I got a peach, orange-red, hot pink, and a fuschia! My favorite and for me the most pigmented was the hot pink called Sweetheart! I absolutely love this color. The peach one called Charm was light and went on slightly streaky but was still quite pretty on. These are amazing and I think everyone who loves lip products should try at least one!
