DIY: Magnet Photo Frames

I’m not very crafty, I wish I was though because it seems like a lot of fun and such cute things can be made. I do try though, usually easy, basic projects. This was one of them!

Michael’s Craft Store has a line by Martha Stewart. Everything is absolutely adorable and perfect. I want one of everything even if I have no use for it! When I first saw these die-cut frames in the scrapbook section of Martha’s line I was instantly drawn to the bright colors. I really wanted them but couldn’t see myself using them, since I’m not an avid scrapbooker. I was browsing again on another day when suddenly I thought, how fun they would be as magnets! So I grabbed the last one at my store along with a roll of magnetic strip and went home and made these in about a half hour.

The die-cut frames were sticky on the back so I stuck them to white copy paper and carefully cut out the white part so just the frame was showing. Then I cut small strips from the magnetic roll and placed them on the four sides of the frame. And voila! Instant photo frames for framing parts of photos, notes, cards, whatever you like!

I know this was a very easy, simple project but I hope you all try it so you can have magnetic photo frames too!
